Mechanic / Machinist
Keep a state-of-the-art Richmond manufacturing operation running at full speed as a Mechanic — repairing, troubleshooting, and operating equipment to confirm fixes while partnering with teammates to solve problems quickly and safely.
Boiler Technician
Run the heart of the site’s utilities as a Boiler Technician/Operator — operating, monitoring, and fine-tuning water‑tube boilers and ancillary systems from a 24/365 control room, using distributed control systems and chemistry knowledge to keep the Central Mechanical Plant safe, stable, and compliant.
Instrument Electrician
Put your electrical and instrumentation expertise to work at our Richmond Manufacturing Center—installing, maintaining, and upgrading production and packaging machinery while diagnosing control-system issues, rebuilding assemblies to spec, and driving process improvements alongside a team focused on quality and safety.
Pipefitter
Be the person who keeps the plant’s “lifelines” flowing — layout, assemble, install, and maintain the piping and support systems that power critical operations across steam, hot water, HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic networks at our Richmond Manufacturing Center.
Industrial HVAC/R Technician
If you like running the “mission control” side of operations, this Industrial HVAC/R Technician role puts you in the control room monitoring and managing the building systems that keep the Richmond Manufacturing Center stable and production-ready — HVAC and humidity controls, steam/air/chilled water utilities, alarms in critical areas, leak detection, and emergency response when conditions change.
Sheet Metal Mechanic
If you love precision fabrication and building custom solutions, this Sheet Metal Mechanic role lets you turn sketches and layouts into real parts — fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing guards, fittings, and equipment in a high-output, multi-craft manufacturing environment at Philip Morris USA in Richmond.

Compensation
The starting wage for these positions is $44/hour with the opportunity to earn $51.76/hour after 120 days. You will be eligible for a shift differential payment of $0.40/hour for working B-shift and $0.48/hour working C-shift.
